Hi, All,

How do you organize your antibodies and PCR primers in your lab? Do you use some database? I should start a new topic, but I am not permitted here. Thanks in advance for any help!

GRAPHPAD PRISM IS THE BEST COZ NOT ONLY IT HAS ALL OF THE ANALYSIS; IT ALSO GENERATES PUBLICATION FRIENDLY PLOTS AND IS MUCH EASIER TO HANDLE THAN SPSS biggrin.gif

i like minitab. easy to use. if you need more advanced statistics use R, it needs a bit of programing concepts though, but much more flexible than "closed" statistics software where you can only do what the commands allow you to do.

SAS is very good

Prism is really great, easy to use for statistics and graphics, not so expensive and with good literature for getting started.

Since nobody mentioned, I think that SigmaStat is a very good one. It does not require much knowledge about statistical tests (though it'd be nice to have some) - it has a kind of wizard which helps you to find the most suitable test to apply, according to your data and needs.

Would someone please recommend me a good statistics program?

Thanks in advance.

lower-sized than SPSS or Systat but good and for free: Mystat from www.systat.com

I'm still fond of excel... I have systat and nova but excell has always fitted the bill for me...
