how much ( in general) BSA is in FCS....anyone know or does it always vary? just looking to do a quick calculation. not in lab dont have bottle in front of me...

Don't know, but my guess is that, as an animal product, it will vary from batch to batch and from source to source. See if you can get the analysis papers for the batch in question. If it's a big issue and you have the time/money to do trial and error, you can try to figure out a custom defined media in your culture that will have a constant amount of BSA.
