reprobing small RNA blots with U6 - (Oct/09/2007 )
Small RNA blots are often reprobed with U6 (or other snRNA) probes for loading control. These should give a signal of about 80-100nt, which is fairly well distinct from a miRNA signal, so, is it necessary to strip the blots before reprobing? Wouldn't even be possible to hybridize with a mixture of a miRNA probe and the U6 probe at the same time?

I have the same question
And now , I reprobe u6 without striping the membrane .the results looks good , as you said, the length is significantly different!
I didn't use 2 probes at same time .Anybody tried, please tell us the results, hur?
