mRNA purification, stratagene - principles of mRNA oligo(dT) magnetic particles (Oct/01/2007 )

im goin to use mRNA purification kit from stratagene for my mRNA isolation..
i understand how mRNA is isolated by using magnetic beads..
but i wonder how magnetic beads is coated with oligo(dT), and i had ever been questioned on it...
can anyone help me??

the beads are coated with a chemical that can bind thymidine (probably in the TTP form), as far as I can make out.

These kits are great (but expensive), miltenyi biotec do one aswell with a thermomagnet so you can synthesize your cDNA in one go.
