FACS instrument prices URGENT - need your advice on FACS (Sep/18/2007 )

Hi!

Please can anyone tell me a bit about prices of FACS instruments. I know they are expensive but I need rough estimate for FACS which would be used mostly for analytical and not preparative purposes.

Too hard to say when we have only this information.

What are your needs? One laser, multiple lasers? How many colors do you want to detect? Do you need 96-well reading/a tube-carousel?

Another thing is that you can negotiate with different companies, they can lower their prices...
