Sequencing protocol ....? - (Sep/12/2007 )

Hello all
I am doing sequencing recation by using reagents from DYEnamic ET terminator cycle sequencing kit...
At last step I have to dissolved product in formamide solution.
But the color of solution is red , So I am afraid is it ok or not?
If i will give this product for sequencing by ABI 3100...does it harmless for sequencer machine.?
I am just worried about color of dye..?

Plz explain me...

if the red dye is not fluorescent then it should not exhibit a significant effect on the sequencer data.

normally final product should be dissolved in highly de-ionized formamide. did you mean that by formamide ?
