Local alignment - (Sep/04/2007 )

Hi there
Does anybody know a free programm for generating a local alignment of more then 2 sequences ?
I have a couple of sequences that are identical except differnet insertions of several basepairs, that some of them have at certain positions.
I used ClustalW and ClustalX so far but these programms always try to align the sequences over the whole distance and so lead to no significant similarity, I at least think what I need would be a global alignment, but I could so far find none for more than 2 sequences.
Please help !

You could do it in the ClustalW; you just need to change properly some parameter.
I recommend Vector NTI. It’s now free and include the "AlingX" program when you can do what you ask for.
