DNA extraction kit - (Aug/07/2007 )

To extract plant DNA, I use DNA extraction kit from Amersham Biosciences Buckinghamshire, UK which contains Reagent 1, 2 and Nucleon Resin. It works perfectly, however, Once, I open the Nucleon resin bottle, I can not store it for long time because the resin dries within few months. Does anyone know how to dissolve the resin?I would be gald to hear your experiences and the solvent for the resin as well.

try to vortex the resin before adding it to your sample...
we always do that,whenever we use it.
