cisplatin - what to use as solvent? (Aug/07/2007 )

i'm trying to decide what to dissolve my cisplatin in, ideally so i can have a 100mM stock concentration. the sigma sheet says it's soluble in water but makes it seem like it will degrade. it is also soluble in dmso (which i think is what we used before) but the product sheet recommends not using it since it may affect the ligand. looking at the literature i see dmaso, water, or 0.9% NaCl being used. Any recommendations?

0.9% NaCl was used in our lab and it worked.
