Does anyone know how to stain cytoplasm of live cells?

Is staining for cytoskeletons close enough?

Will GFP help ?

Actually I was looking for some dye to stain cell cytoplasm.

GFP alone may also stain perinuclear vesicles/cisternae

may you want to try Eosin or difquick I solutions for staining cytoplasm portion (but we use only for fixed cells).
