phage cDNA library screening with PCR - (Jul/23/2007 )

Hello,

have you been ever screening a phage cDNA library with PCR instead of using labeled probes?
I wonder if I can use sequencing primers from the Kit with gene sppecific primers to screen my library....
Any suggestions???

hi. even i dont understand exactly what you are trying to do... i will tell you my expirience.
I use a liver phage library for straight PCR. i use the phage primer and my gene spesific one. i do not isolate DNA from the library. i use 2 ul of the phage solution ... and it works fine for me. hope i helped a lttle bit
