Hi Iv been having real difficulty in finding information on this question:

Q) What are the mechanisms for surviving extreme temperatures in plants?

Does anyone know any websites with information on this? any suggestions or answers to the question will be appeciated...THANKS.

it depends on the plant....search google for desert plants for example !

It kind of depends on the plant but there are some common mechanisms for that.
There are some good review papers on that subject. Try using a search engine with those keywords (plants, extreme temperatures, cold, heat, abiotic stress, etc). You're bound to find some interesting stuff.
