I am using HT29. According to ATCC, its oncogene are: myc +; ras +; myb +; fos +; sis +; p53 +; abl -; ros -; src -. may i know what is meant by the positive and negative signs? for example, as it is p53+, the p53 is wild type or mutant ?

as far as I know all are proto-oncogenes; the minus "-" should indicate deficiency
