Home-made ECL solution - recipe neede (Jun/28/2007 )

Does anyone of you make its own ECL solution (for western blotting), and share the recipe with us?

solution A 100 ml 0.1 M Tris/HCl (pH 8.6) +25 mg luminol
solution B 11 mg para-hydroxy coumarin acid in 10 ml DMSO
solution C: H2O2 (35 % v/v)

mix: 10:1:0.003 and incubate blot

Thank you. Yeah, it will be much cheaper than any purchased ready-to-use solution.

efficiency is between normal Amersham ECL and ECL plus with their advantage of only two solutions
