Interpreting a scatterplot - (Jun/18/2007 )

Hey all,

I got some Affy data and have made a nice scatterplot out of it.
There are some concentrated regions of data points I am quite interested in, and have been told by my PI to make 'Venn Diagrams' based on such points (so you can find regions of overlap).

I'm curious to know if anyone here has any advice into how I can execute such an activity? I'm using SPSS and that doesn't have any particular function.

Thanks in advance,

-phossein-

R has numerous packages for the analysis of chip data. There are some users on this forum and also have a look at:
www.bioinformaticsonline.co.uk I know one of the admins there is writing a book on R and bioinformatics so he should be of some use.

Enjoy.
