Chromatography refrigerator - what is the difference from the regular refrigerator? (Jun/07/2007 )

Title says all.

this might be stupid question, but I was just not sure what does it mean by chromatography refrigerator?

what is the difference or special about "Chromotography" refrigerator comparing to the regular refrigerator???

We have this one from Revco. It is simple glass door refrigerator with 2 socket connection and 2 hole for elecric cabel supply. So there are only two differences which distinquish "chromatography" refrigerator from other one. Also it is possible to control and change temperature ( 4-8 C) and black box with writing conditions of work.


Several years ago I 've worked with Chromatography COOLLAB ( LKB, Finland) which also had 4 holder for column and stainless stell l shelfs with possibility to rearrange for your purpose. But now these options are not included by producer.
