Hi

I am about to release my first publication..but not sure where should I send it.

Can anyone tell my a site with a list of science magazines and their ranking? I am looking too.

choose of journal depends on topic and quality of your work; if it is on your decision where to submit, take a look in some journals and try to compare it as objectively as you can with your manuscript; it has no use to enter too high in a rank as high rank journals may kick you out w/o review; so a waste of time;

I would tend to go a little higher than I think is probable for the paper. If you are lucky, you get good suggestions by the reviewers...
There are also those who send every paper to nature or science first, just in case the editor likes it... I think, those are the ones succeeding one day
