Blocking with 2 % BSA - (May/29/2007 )

Hi,

I have found a protocol telling me that I should block my cells with 2% BSA in PBS before I perform immunocytochemistry on them. However, I do not know what 2 % exactly means in this case and the only BSA I have is in the form of a powder... I usually use goat serum and dilute it to 2% (v/v) in PBS. Does anyone have a clue?

Thanks for your replies!
