tissue culture floor cleaning - standard protocol?? (Dec/01/2003 )

I am looking for a standard consensus on floor cleaning for a tissue culture room. We are in a new facility with a designated tissue culture room (we did not have this in our last facility). Should the floors be cleaned by sweeping, mopping or both? Should this be done by the lab personnel or is it OK for the maintenance to be doing this?

i dunno but ours is dirty as hell. Its UVed every night and we haven't had contamination problems. My guess would be sweeping + mopping with lysol or bleach would be optimal.
