you can't DEPC treatyou need to prepare with RNAse free water EDTA 500mM pH8 and filter sterilize.
S procedure is :
dissolve MOPS in water. DEPC treat. you can't adjust the pH as DEPC drives incorrect measures (as said in maniatis)
Autoclave (twice is better) and adjust pH to 7 with NaOH
Add 20ml O.5M EDTA. Fill to 1liter and filter sterilize.
Keep at 4° in aluminium-paper-wrapped-bottle
