PCR - primer (Nov/04/2003 )

I have designed primers in such a way one of them has 16nt and the other has 22. is it o.k? can any one tell me.

Fine, I would never go below 14 nt though if you want it to anneal.

Why did you design your primers with different bp? Not sure if this will affect things but I have always tried to find the same number (~24bp).
