IHC on Eye Tissue - How to fix frozen eye sections? (May/04/2007 )

Hi all,

I'm trying to do some IHC on frozen, non paraffin embedded eye sections. Does anyone have a protocol for fixing the eye tissue? All the ones I have found deal with parafinn embedded eye tissue.

Thanks!

Fix it in 4% paraformaldehyde. It depends if you need the retin, I would fix it for 1 hr in RT and then put it in 30% sucrose to dehydrate it and then freeze it to make cryosections.
