problem with -ve controls of mt genes - (Apr/28/2007 )

Hi all,
I'm newbie and only run 4 times RT PCR,
I've run 2 mt genes and 2 control genes, and got Ct ~30+ in -ve controls , only in mitochondrial genes almost everytimes, but not in control genes and not all replicates (sometimes all ) ... help me think what happen with these genes ...

I don't really understand your question. Could you write more details?

You are getting bands in your negative control? What do you mean by negative control? Without cDNA? Did you design the primers and what do they bind to?
