Dissolving miRNA - What is the best way of dissolving RNA? (Apr/18/2007 )

Hi All.

I have a miRNA pellet that I want to dissolve in 18ul RNase free water. Didnt think much about it before and just dissolved it and left for a couple of minuts. By time I want to reduce the amount of misstakes and did think more about it this time.
Some source says that it should be put on ice and then heated to 65 degrees of Celcius. Other say to keep it in freeze for a while.

What is your experience and opinion about how to do it?

i heat briefly at 56° for 10'. and then go back on ice.
You need i think to heat in order to denaturate pellet and interaction between molecules which may counter the dissolution.
