RNA extraction from eosinophils - (Apr/17/2007 )

I am trying to extract RNA from eosinophils. I've tried the Invitrogen Micro-to-Midi extraction kit, but didn't get any results. Does anyone have any advice or ideas on how to increase my yield?

More details would be useful. You could try calling Invitrogen technical support; they're usually quite helpful.

i would recommend to use liquid method insterad of columns.

Basic recommendations are :
increase efficiency of lysis by using a siringe.
work always on ice and increase the lysis times up to 15'
increase the lysis buffer volume used.
