b. gymnosperm stems

arent they kind of the what follows after a pith. the way that xylem + phloem is arranged around it?

oh yes, i remember it now, i think you mean the pattern of arrangment of primary phloem and xylem
well, i read somewhere that all roots are protostele and the eustele is found in most angiosperms and gemnosperms
