lung tissue homogenization - (Apr/11/2007 )
Hi,
I did homogenization of lung tissue samples with ultra turrax t8 follwed by trizol extraction.
The OD 260 was good (1.8-1.9) but the check control on 1% agarose gel indicated a RNA degradation...
Can anybody explain me WHY??

PS: is the homogenizator type the problem??
