Little birdy - Little birdy (Apr/11/2007 )

today i got a very very little birdy ,when i was going university i found it on the road and i picked it and took to lab where i feed with water in syringe,and also tried to feed with biscuites smashed in water ,he looks 1 , 2 days.then i picked it to home where i have arranged two syringes, one contain water and one has biscuites-water and also giving him grinded "baajra" (i dont know its english) with forseps.all this is very tough job.i just want to save him. and i cant sleep even after coming from lab. i also failed to concentrate my work.all the time i am worry about his food and rest.i am so much attached.he/she makes my hands so many times dirty happy.gif .


if any one has any sugestion whats the food of very little birds.and how many times they should be feed in whole day (when i feel he is hungry or when he is chriping?).

I think first is to look what it is (songbird,...) . But if you think you are not able to cope with it, perhaps a veterinary will help you.

You may try small pieces of egg white or yolk. Dont give too much though.

Looking at the beak could also give you good hints about what the bird is eating. But as you describe it, it may well eat insects (if it has a little beak) or seeds (bigger, strong beak).
