Post ChIP DNA amount - (Apr/03/2007 )
Folks,
I've just started some ChIP assays and was wondering what the expected yield of DNA would be. I know this will be, amongst other things, Ab specific. I'm using 50ug input chromatin, RNA pol II ab. My yield is approximately 150ng. I was expecting slightly more but don't really have any reference points. Any idea of a ball part figure?
Thanks

0.3% sounds reasonable for ChIP. I get less than this with ChIP for certain transcription factors.
