How take samples of cultured cells with out disturb monolayer - (Mar/21/2007 )

Hi, I'm trying to stablish some infection in some cell cultures, but to do this I need to do real time PCR to stablish number of organisms infecting the cells. My question is, if some of you know how can I get some of that cells in culture with out disturb monolayer?..

The best way probably will be to use multiple well plates and just take one well out for analysis for each group.

i suppose you mean using bact to infect cells, and try to take the bact from infected cells without disturbing the monoloayer? ya, why not try genehumter-1 method?

you can also try to harvest supernatant from monolayer to get the bact from the monolayer medium. OR lyse cells to collect bact...
