ELISA/Dot blot for detection of Methylated DNA - (Mar/14/2007 )

I'm looking for an ELISA protocol for the detection of methylated DNA. I've tried Epigentek's kit and haven't had any luck. I'm also interested in a dot blot protocol for the detection of methylated DNA.

Thank you.

Why does it have to be ELISA based? There are different means of measuring global DNA methylation... HPLC based, MALDI based, using restriction nucleases and single nucleotide extension...

Pereira_ToxSci_2004 (Toxicological Science 77 243-248 2004) Have the dot blot method to measure global methylation. I did give it try, it works OK, but it is way not sensive. The LC-MS method is much much better!

I'm aware of some of the other methods of methylation analysis but, the boss wants an ELISA based method.
