My control is a group of several subjects - How to perform the analysis? (Mar/06/2007 )

Hi everybody!
I am comparing gene expression between group of patients and group of healthy people. How shall I treat those 20 healthy individuals = my control when evaluating results?

Hi Pavlina,

use deltaCT values of patients and probands and compare them with a simple t-test or a Mann-Whitney-test. Don't use deltadeltaCT values for this kind of analysis.
