GFP transfection - basic protocol needed (Feb/28/2007 )

Hi,
I'm new to transfection and would like to transfect a cervical cancer cell line CaSki to express GFP, any advice or direction for finding protcols would be most appreciated! Thanks in advance!!

Try to find a publication that describes transfection of this particular cell line. Or browse on company websites to see if their reagent has already been used on this cell line (if so, they will of course claim it was succesful). If you're the first one to transfect this cell line, try Calcium phosphate transfection or buy a commercial reagent and follow their protocol.
