Chocolate agar Plates

Description: 3.60% GC II medium base, 1.0% hemoglobin.
Applications: A standard medium for the cultivation of N. gonorrhoeae, it is not however a selective medium. Therefore in any mixed-cultures encountered, growth of contaminants is not restricted and may result in an over growth of gonococci.
