Non linear regression and sigmoidal curves to calculate quantitative RT-PCR - New paper in Biotechniques (Feb/20/2007 )

Hi all,

there is an exciting new paper in Biotechniques http://biotechniques.msgfocus.com/c/11bL6hLIPxtJz198
reporting a possibility to analyze RT-data apart from CT values. They use non-linear regression to model the sigmoidal fluorescence curves and calculate the amount of starting material from there. The paper says, it is as valid as Ct comparisons but describes errors more precisely. Any comments or experiences?
