The best book for biostatistics - if there is one... (Feb/09/2007 )
Hi all,
I would really like to recommend a very good book for biostatistics that comes along wihtoutt formulas and other things that we life-scientists don't even want to understand.
It is more like - I have the following question, what should I do and why?
At least it is a very good introduction...
The book is named: Intuitive Biostatistics and it was written by Harvey Motulsky, the CEO of Graphpad. There are some chapters online at www.graphpad.com.
I really hated statistics but know it really is a good friend, helping me save time and work...
But maybe, anybody knows an even better book
Just let us know!

There was this thread: http://www.protocol-online.org/forums/inde...showtopic=20550 with several recomendations. My favourite is still C. Dytham: Choosing and Using Statistics: A Biologist's Guide. (from Blackwell) (as an easy/beginners book)
