minimum amount of rna in RT-PCR - (Feb/02/2007 )

i have to do semiquantification by reverse transcriptase pcr. i have very little amount of plant tissue from which rna can be isolated. so could anybody advice me as to how much rna shud i start with for cdna synthesis?

well theoritically even one proper RNA sequence is enough for PCR but in real life it really depend to the quality of your materials and the method of extraction.
