transfection in NIH3T3 cells - (Feb/01/2007 )

Hi,
I use NIH/3T3 cells with Fugene 6. In fact, I didn't get any results from any plasmid I generated so far, but I got good transfection and expression using reporter plasmids such as CMV-beta gal and pcDNA3/CAT.
All the ratios I used worked. I would suggest 2:1 or 3:1 ratio. Also, I used 1 ug of DNA and it was suficient to transfect cells.
