Normalization-mirRNAs - (Jan/29/2007 )

Hi everybody, I used Real Time PCR for miRNA detection. I dont know how to do the normalization.I think that U6 RNA is the most suitable but how and if i can use rtPCR which are the primers and probe for U6RNA. Do you have any idea?

HI, welcom to the biggest problem of miRNA RT_PCR detection. Yes, you can use U6, but U6 is not a miRNA...so you are never sure.Marco

yes but half life of U6 is above 100H...
