Comet McNaught - Pics (Jan/24/2007 )

These pics were taken by me from a nearby school. The comet is visible to the naked eye in the evenings at the moment. Apparently the brightest comet for about 100 years. The tail is approximately 15 million miles long to give some idea of scale.

Taken on the 23rd of Jan this year at roughly 11pm, the comet is still visible in the southern hemisphere (where I am), but getting fainter as it is getting further away from the sun
