antibody concentration - antibody precipitation using ammonium sulfate (Jan/18/2007 )

Hi guys, does anybody know how can i concentrate or purify the antibodies from serum? i was thinking about precipitating with ammonium sulfate but i am not sure that this will work, i have a very little volume (2 mL) so, i have to do it thoroughly and trying to get the maximum recovery, it doesn't matter if it still have other sera proteins, i just want to reduce the volume of the serum, thanks for ur help

For that low volume I would use Protein A Sepharose followed by ultrafiltration of eluate.
