DNA extraction from mouse ear punch - (Jan/13/2007 )

Has anyone use the Qiagen DNeasy tissue kit for isolating DNA from a single ear punch sample? If yes, do you modify the protocol used for rodent tails or do exactly the same?

Thanks

No.
I think that the DNA extraction using the ear punch sample is the same as rodent tails.
The only difference is the amount of DNA...more in rodent tails than ear punch due to smaller sample size.

I hope this may help.
