Help-EMSA - Gel Mobility Shift Assay (Mar/14/2003 )

When I make the PAGE, there are always ununiform areas at the bottom of the gel. And the binds are not straight. I don't know why. The PAGE is 5%, and it also contains 10%glycorol, 1mM EDTA, NaAc. Could you give me some suggestion to resolve this problem? Thank you very much.

Try this one(6%): 16ml TBE 1x, pH 8.0, 4ml Acrylamide 30%, 130 ul APS 10%, 25ul TEMED. No glycerol, works perfectly, made over 20 times.
