Any protocol or methods for estimation of amines in solution - (Dec/13/2006 )

Hi all, i am searching for any protocol for the estimation of amines in solution, can any one help

Ninhydrin is probably best as a sensitive and straightforward method. Mind you, ninhydrin may miss secondary amines, catecholamines, indolamines and phenolamines. I think you can use diazo dyes as well. What amines are you looking for and what's the solvent matrix?
