How to make PCR  using the gel solution - (Jun/28/2002 )

Hi, I want to clone a special RAPD band now. Now I plan to cut down the gel with the band, disslove it in some solution (not extract DNA from the gel) and then make a PCR again. But I do not know what kind of solution the gel can be dissolved in and how many the volums the solution will be used in the next PCR . I hope your help. Thank you very much.
