Which data base is accurate on the internet - (Nov/30/2006 )

Hi,

I am very confuses about which database is correct. I want to look into the 5'UTR of a mRNA. But there are several different nucleotide sequence from AceView, GeneBank, SwissPort, UCSC.

Which one should I trust and why? What is the different between them?

Thanks

I make the assumption that the data submitted to each one of those databases is by different groups. There is not right or wrong just different experiments. I generally use things like swissprot or genbank because they are parts of larger research efforts that are backed by vast amounts of other data. Also should you need any help, as I have done in the past, you can contact the NCBI/SANGER/EBI people and they are very willing to help - they are really very nice people.
