how to sterilize the bud from the banana tree? Do treatment like Kanamycin meiji (antibiotic) help in sterilization? ive add lower concentration of it and the plantlets became stunted. If i just use clorox without antibiotic, the contamination was high but the plantlets growing vigorously. any suggestion?

try different antibiotics? Ampicilin for gram negative. Chloroamphenicol is a reasonable broadrange antibiotic.

Ampicilin is synergistic with Kanamycin... which mean you can probably use less Kanamycin for the same killing effect.
