Viral RNA isolation from plant - (Nov/18/2006 )

i want to isolate rna from plant tissue to extract virus rna, isolation by liquid nitrogen then trizol is better or to isolate with trizol directly.

iam confused about that ?

later i will say why, because the result was astonishing?

I ground tissue first which usually in liquid nitrogen

does anyone has experience to use FTA card to extract total RNA??
