Myb transcription factors - question (Nov/06/2002 )

Does anyone happen to know what the Myb in Myb transcription factors means? have looked everywhere, and it seems to have been forgotton!

The first myb gene to be identified was the v-myb oncogene of the avian myeloblastosis virus (AMV). Myeloblast - Myb
