NFKappaB inhibitor - NFKB inhibitor (Nov/10/2006 )

Hi, I m looking for a specific NFKB inhibitor. Can you help me to find it? I already used PDTC but il is not spécific!! sad.gif Thank you.

have a look at this paper :
May et al 2000, Science 289 : 1550-1554.
selective inhibition of NF-kappaB activation by a peptide that blocks the interaction of NEMO with the IkapB kinase complex.

6-Amino-4-(4-phenoxyphenylethylamino)quinazoline blocks NFkappa B in the nm range; relative cheap

Thank you very much I will tested NBD peptide smile.gif

Bay 11-7082 also works... not sure how though.

NF-kappa B is a central key of several signal pathways. Many compounds will inhibit it, but how specifically?
If you want to publish a good paper, you need to know how it inhibits, and how selective it is.

Thank you for your reply,

i think NBD peptide and 6-Amino-4-(4-phenoxyphenylethylamino)quinazoline are more slective than Bay 11-7082 because i think Bay may interfere with other pathaways Independently of NFKappaB smile.gif
